I was commissioned to shoot at Wonderland’s mini festival called Down the Rabbit Hole featuring Van She, Parachute Youth and Flume. I wanted to do something a bit different to the standard social photo stuff and took more of a street photographers approach. With a longer focal length (85mm) and no flash. I got really drunk and kinda blew it but a lot turned out as planned and im really diggin this look. My entire album is here- http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.393437274010219.89783.110701842283765&type=3

I am really really bored with club photos. Part of the reason I dont really shoot them anymore. Theres nothing interesting happening that I haven’t already photographed 1000 times before. I did this to keep it fun for me and to add another element to images that I am now desensetized too. It comes directly from my love for Japan and the crazy little photobooths with colourful graphics, I will build on this and refine it a bit better. But yeah, thats where my heads at currently.

Miyajima Island, Japan. these little guys hang out all over the island. An amazing little slice of untouched nature to escape to after exploring the urban expanse of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima.
